Pineapple Pound Cake
2 sticks margarine
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 small can crushed pineapple (drain & reserve juice)
Combine sugar, flour and salt. Mix in softened margarine. ADD eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. MIX in pineapple. (Dough will be stiff)
Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. (Flour spray will work as well)
Bake 350F degrees for 1hour
Cool 5 - 10 minutes. Invert to a cake plate and glaze.
Glaze with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup pineapple juice which has been brought to a boil. Pour over cake.
