Little Pizzas For Kids

Spray Cooking Oil
1 10-ounce package refrigerated pizza dough
1 8-ounce can pizza sauce
2 ounces sliced pepperoni or Canadian bacon
1/4 cup black olives, sliced thin
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1 4-ounce package mozzarella cheese, shredded

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees

Spray baking sheet with cooking oil or grease baking sheet with shortening. Unroll pizza dough onto the baking sheet. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough in half. Then cut each half into 6 rectangles. Separate the rectangles on the baking sheet, leaving some space between them.

Spoon pizza sauce over each rectangle. Use the back of the spoon to smooth sauce over dough. Top each with pepperoni or Canadian bacon, olives and green pepper. Sprinkle each with cheese.

Put the pan into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is brown. Use pot holders to remove pan from the oven and turn the oven off.

Use a pancake turner to remove slices from the pan. Let the pizzas cool a few minutes before eating.  (Makes 12)

TIPS for KIDS

Cooking is fun.

Find a recipe and carefully read it. Assemble the ingredients and equipment that will be needed. Be sure you have an ADULT present to help you at all times.

SAFETY TIPS:

Always use hot pads or potholders when cooking or baking and make sure an ADULT is there to help you.

Always wash your hands before you start to cook! Use soap and water, clean all parts of your hands really good.

Don't forget: Help clean up after you have finished baking or cooking. Mom & Dad will like that and so will your grandparents.

Best of all, Have Fun and Enjoy!
NOTE:   All ADULTS should help a child read the recipe first to make sure all the ingredients are available and the type of supervision that will be needed for each recipe.
