Paw Paw's Meatloaf

2 lbs ground beef (80/20 or 85/15 blend)
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 small green bell pepper, wash, seeds removed & diced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 15oz can tomato sauce
1 small onion, diced
1/2 sleeve of crackers, crushed in a sandwich bag

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl except the 15 ounce can tomato sauce.  Mix well by hand (wash hands before and after handling meat mixture)

Dump mixture into a baking dish and form into a loaf leaving an edge away from the side of the dish.  Poke 4-5 holes in top of mixture and pour the 15 ounce can of tomato sauce over meatloaf. Cover with matching lid or aluminum foil and seal edges.

Bake in pre-heated oven 350 degrees for 1 hour.  Remove lip or foil and cook 30 minutes to brown top of meat.
