Chocolate Upside Down Cake
Frosting: 1 can coconut pecan frosting
Filling: 1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
Cake: 1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 1/4 cups water
1/3 cup oil
Heat oven 375 degrees F.
Spread frosting in bottom of ungreased 13X9" cake pan.
In small bowl, combine all filling ingredients at low speed until well blended, beat at high speed until smooth.
Spread filling over frosting. In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter over filling.
Bake at 375 degrees for 42-52 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 2 minutes; loosen edges with knife and invert onto serving plate. Leave pan over cake for 5 minutes; remove pan. Store in refrigerator.
